Automate your support email replies effortlessly with our customizable Power Automate flow integrated with OpenAI's API and Assistant. This solution reads incoming Outlook emails, generates accurate replies using your custom-trained OpenAI Assistant, and sends responses automatically.
What do you get?
You will get a ZIP file of the Power Automate flow (as you see here).
You must get your OpenAI API key and the Assistant ID to make this flow work.
Watch this video to learn how it works: https://youtu.be/fotKqjc6Y8k (You can build your own Power Automate flow by watching this video 😉 ).
How it works:
- The Power Automate flow activates when a new email arrives in your Outlook inbox.
- It captures the email's subject and body.
- Sends the extracted information to your custom-trained OpenAI Assistant using an HTTP action.
- The Assistant creates a reply based on the data you've provided during training.
- The flow receives the generated reply from the Assistant.
- Automatically sends the Assistant's reply back to the original email sender.
Prerequisites:
OpenAI Account:
- Sign up for an OpenAI account if you haven't already.
- Add credit to your account and obtain your unique API key.
- Acquire your Assistant ID for your custom-trained Assistant.
Microsoft Power Automate Account:
- Ensure you have access to Microsoft Power Automate.
Download and Import the Flow:
- Download the provided Power Automate flow file.
- Log in to your Microsoft Power Automate dashboard.
- Navigate to the "My Flows" section and select "Import."
- Upload the downloaded flow file to import it into your workspace.
Configure the Flow:
- Open the imported flow in the Power Automate editor.
- Replace placeholder values for the first two variables with your actual OpenAI API key and Assistant ID.
- Adjust the trigger settings to monitor a specific inbox or folder.
You will get a ZIP file which contains the Power Automate Flow. You need to import the flow into your account and connect to OpenAI API and Assistant ID.
